Rumbolds Barn Billingshurst West Sussex - Laura & Ryan
Updated: Apr 23
I met Laura back in 2014 at our work place Laura Ashley. Laura was an interior designer for the company and had the most beautiful eye for detail. When she asked me to photograph her wedding I was ecstatic! I knew it would just be full of the most gorgeous details.
Bridal Prep was intimate and full of love. Lauras sister and Mum kept her beautifully calm and collected before it was time to leave for the ceremony. Gifts were exchanged and giggles were had.
The bridal prep suite for a quaint little out house behind the barn, spacious with luxury finishings.
We were spoilt with choice for things to photograph, defiantly in my element with all the girly touches she had so thoughtfully planned out. I will never forget when I entered the barn where they would be serving the wedding breakfast. The tables were full of vintage tea cups that Lauras nan had collected from charity shops over the past year. What a personal touch! She'd even managed to find teacups with bride and groom engraved onto them.
It was soon time for us to head off to the church. It was a very strict traditional ceremony so we were very limited with options for the photos but we definitely made up for it with the confetti!
Laura and Ryan were beaming from ear to ear and I love how this image just shows it perfectly
The Barn itself is surrounded in the most gorgeous traditional gardens. The perfect backdrop for your bride and groom portraits.
The weather wasn't too kind to us so we had to take our chances with the rain, luckily these guys were a barrel of laughs and were up for anything. I love a wedding party who really gets involved with my crazy requests.
